Don’t miss Thee Noblemen on November 7, 2010 at the Phoenix/New Times 10K run. We are playing at the NE corner of 12th Avenue and Jefferson in front of the Carnegie Library from 8:00am until the last runner goes by – about 10:00am. See you there!

We played Sunday, November 7 for the Phoenix/New Times 10K run. In spite of the fact that we kept losing power and kicking breakers on the huge generator, and that Scott’s iPhone decided to change from daylight savings (NO) and he was an hour late…. or the fact that Roy’s amp decided to not work 5 minutes before our start time…. the gig went well.
We knew there would not be many spectators other than runners who might be lucky to hear one complete song – BUT, we didn’t count on the over 50 homeless people who sat across the street and heard our entire set! They were a great audience. A Sunday morning concert. Some of them even wanted to sit in!
It was fun and we had a great time. Check out a short compilation video on our Videos page.
I really wish I could have been there to see and hear the “Legendary” Noblemen captivate the local population. You made each others day.
I am a native of Arizona and danced to the Noblemen wherever they played.
Just to give you an idea of how good the Noblemen played, the 10k runners would stop and dance. I found myself dancing as well. So if you are looking to hire a band, these guys are good memories from the past and you will enjoy their music and most likely you will get up and dance. Incredible band!
Kathy;
Thanks for the great words of encouragement! I assume you watched our short video and caught yourself dancing in the isles. It was very special to have fans from the past! Thanks again, Scott
